Marc Russell
Marc Russell is a Principal of AdvicePeriod. Now based out of South Florida, Marc is responsible for simplifying clients’ financial lives while focusing on the issues that matter most to them. He has an affinity for complex tax and estate planning issues and has spent his career working with clients to design and implement comprehensive, sophisticated planning and investment strategies.
Marc began his career working with his AdvicePeriod cofounders at Convergent Wealth Advisors. Soon after joining Convergent, Marc relocated to Los Angeles for the launch of Convergent’s California office, where he played an integral role in its rapid growth by serving as a client advisor, building relationships with key centers of influence, and developing new business. In addition to serving as the primary advisor to many of the firm’s largest and most complex clients, Marc served on Convergent’s Leadership Committee.
Marc graduated from Amherst College cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and received his Masters in Business Administration with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Series 65 license, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of South Florida.
