Alison Roth

Ali Roth, CFA®, CFP®, is a Partner Advisor with AdvicePeriod. Ali primarily serves high-earning individuals and families—often business owners and those who have/had complex equity compensation—to use money as a tool to help achieve their financial goals while staying true to their values and what matters most.

As part of her process, Ali dives deep with clients in all areas of their financial lives to evaluate and provide clarity on their current situation versus where they’d like to be and co-develops an actionable road map to get there, adjusting as life and goals inevitably change. All throughout, she places a heavy emphasis on tax planning and tax strategies, often in collaboration with the client’s tax preparers, to help them understand, plan for and strategize around their tax situation.

Prior to becoming a Partner Advisor with AdvicePeriod, Ali gained invaluable experience in various roles across the industry. She started her career as a portfolio analyst at a fixed income investment management firm in California, which provided her with an intimate understanding of markets and the economy. Later, in pursuit of making an impact on individuals’ financial lives, she transitioned to wealth management and worked with several wealth management firms in New York City that focused on providing comprehensive and objective financial planning advice to high-net-worth individuals. She also consulted with and supported financial advisors across the country regarding their clients’ tax, estate, insurance, investment and retirement needs.

Ali graduated magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration. She holds the CFA® and CFP® designations and has received a graduate certificate in financial life planning from Golden Gate University.

Outside the office, Ali enjoys reading, playing and watching sports and spending time with family, friends and her two cats.
