In his current role as CEO of Wealth Management Consulting, LLC, Nathan provides AdvicePeriod independent, objective counsel over asset allocation and portfolio construction. He also chairs AdvicePeriod’s Investment Committee.
Throughout his career, Nathan Sonnenberg has served as a leader and senior research executive for a number of notable investment firms, including Chief Investment Officer at Fortigent, LLC, a provider of outsourced investment research, technology, and practice management solutions to RIAs and banks that targeted high net worth investors. In addition to his time at Fortigent and Wealth Management Consulting, Nathan was Chief Investment Officer of Glassman Wealth Services and the Director of Investments at Abbot Downing, a division of Wells Fargo that focuses on ultra-high net worth clientele.
Nathan holds a B.S. in System Engineering from University of Virginia and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. In his free time he enjoys volunteer work for educational programs and is the co-chairman of the Religious School Committee at Temple Rodef Shalom.
